History of the 55th Fighter Group, USAAF, 8th Air Force and 442nd Air Service Group from the fall of 1943 to the end of WWII.  The 55th FG was equipped with the P-38 Lighting before switching to P-51 Mustangs and were stationed at Station 131, Nuthampstead, England.  Includes mission diary, combat diary, milestones, mission list, index, glossary.  Laminated heavy card hardback in full colour (no dust-jacket as published).
