The Memorial at Sibsey Northlands stands so proudly in the middle of a Fenland field in sight of the Lincolnshire Wolds in one direction and the famous Boston Stump in the opposite direction.  This is the resting place of Avro Lancaster ED503 and five of its crew who lost their lives when the plane crashed on an engine and airframe flight, incorporating a fighter affiliation exercise with a Spitfire Fighter aircraft.

This book has been produced to raise funds for the "Sibsey Lancaster Memorial Trust", established by members of the RBL and RAFA to ensure a wealth of Poppies is laid each year at this "Private Memorial" and that it is kept in pristine condition for eternity, "Lest We Forget" the many who gave their lives for Freedom?
